How can I tell if a data sync has worked?
When you integrate MyEDiary with a 3rd party admin or timetabling system, regular data syncs will start to take place - either as a result of automatic scheduling or as a result of manually triggering a sync within the 3rd party application.
Viewing Sync Results
To find out if the data sync is working, and to monitor the outcome of each sync, you can view the 'Recent Sync Results' on the integration detail page for the integration in question.
Within the MyEDiary control panel, go to: Settings > Integrations and click on the integration that you'd like to monitor.
If any syncs have occurred since the integration was set up, you'll see a list of recent sync results. Each of those results (logs) can be clicked to reveal detailed information about the sync process.
Troubleshooting Sync Issues
If there were any issues during the sync process, MyEDiary tries to supply as much information as possible, directly within the sync log. At present, the easiest way to search for issues is to use your browser's 'Find' tool.
MyEDiary prepends error notices in the log with either " ***" or "**", so a quick browser search for an asterisk will quickly highlight any problems that occurred.
